A documentary about Creationfest, a four-day Christian rock show-cum-revival held every summer in Eastern Washington. Utterly surreal, this couldn’t be more different from Dawkins’ interview with the Bishop of Oxford
“Jesus would have been funnier than any comedian you can think of. Jesus was way cool” etc.

You don’t seem to realize that the lyrics you’re quoting we’re actually by the decidedly non-Christian ’90s cult group King Missile who achieved minor novelty fame with their 1992 song “Detachable Penis.” The song’s placement in the documentary was a bit out of context too.

In direct opposition to what the kids in the film think, I am able to live a life free of drugs and alcohol without any help from Jesus. I also like the part where it is apparently legal to kill young patients who come into hospitals in Holland. Christians love to point there finger at the Netherlands and declare “There is godless Gomorrah!”
