I used to regurly commute from Bradford to Sheffield to play with a Olde Thyme session band at the New Barracks Tavern aka Hillsboro barracks Tavern.Ive always liked this town for its openess to different forms of music and culture ,without regressing into hip_hop counter culture for its own sake.This city is rife with the cultures of many diverse ethnic groups but as always remained at peace with itself,it is a model of which the Northern Brits should be proud.Dont let Gang Culture uglymusicart be”comethe dominant force because Sheffield is special and hopefully will remain so..
