The Prize: The Epic Quest for Oil, Money & Power

An exhaustive and information rich series of documentaries made in 1992 when oil prices were low enough for a level headed look at the history of oil. Based on a Pulitzer Prize winning book, of the available documentaries on the subject, this is the one to blow the dust off and insert into the virtual VCR.
Part 1, running time: 50 mins.

This was really quite fun. In the manner of the best PBS documentaries, it takes much, much longer to tell the story than is needed. But for being long and entertaining, the message sinks in deeper.
I was glad I saw all seven segments.

BRILLIANT! I wish I could find an affordable copy of this 6 hour documentary. Everyone wants over 200.00 for it, one guy is even asking for 1000.00 and it is vhs????GRRRR. Any chance you will be able to post the other 5 parts so I can finally see the whole thing?
